Our 2nd annual developer contest ends Midnight CST Saturday, January 12, 2013. This year Polycom has teamed up with GENBAND to provide more APIs and more cash prizes to the top applications submitted. We invite developers from all over the globe to participate in our 2012 GENFuzion Developer Challenge. There is no cost to enter the contest & submit your favorite communications-enabled applications for a chance to win top dollar and have your work shown to the top telecommunications operators and large enterprises around the world. This year our contest categories are:
- IP Phone Apps - apps that make the IP Phone powerful
- Family Apps - apps that keep the family connected
- Converged Apps - apps that cross both TDM (legacy voice) & IP
- Mobility - apps for mobile phone / tablets
- Business Productivity - apps that make employees more productive
Contest Winners Receive:
- 1st Place = $20,000 USD
- 2nd Place = $15,000 USD
- 3rd Place = $10,000 USD
- Honorable Mention Awards in each category XBOX 360 KINECT BUNDLE (up to $500 value)
Contest Details: Contest participants must join the GENFuzion Developer Community and each application must use the GENBAND A2 Communications Application Server. IP Phone Apps must leverage the Polycom APIs and category entrants will be shipped two Polycom VVX500 IP Phones to use in testing.
